Presentation that was held in Regional chamber of commerce Krusevac
On Friday 28th of October there was held a meeting organized by Regional chamber of commerce in Krusevac. Representatives from Ministry of finance and regional business representatives had an open discussion and presentation of possibilities and advantages of doing business and operation in Free Zones.
State secretary of Ministry of finance Miodrag Djidic, director of Free zones administration Milan Ristic and Dr. Dragan Kostic have held a presentation how to operate and work in free zones, effects on companies that operate in free zones and how much those companies can save in it. Through this presentation Free Zone Pirot is also presented like one of most successful free zones in Serbia.
"DAYS of KLASTER”, Niš
On international conference "DAYS of KLASTER” that was held in City of Nis on 27th and 28th October 2011, vice director Zoran Vucic held a presentation under the name of Free zones in Serbia and future investment of new transport and logistic center in Pirot. Participants were from Denmark, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Macedonia and host country Serbia. Presentation had a great success, most guests were interested on transport and logistics center in Pirot.
General International Fair, Thessaloniki, Greece
In the period from 10 to 18 September held sponsibility of the general international fair which is the Republic of Serbia have the status of honorary participating countries.
The representatives of the free zones as part of this show, attended a business forum "Serbia in Thessaloniki 2011" held on 09th September and on that occasion met with eminent representatives of the Greek economy, Mr. Michailidis and Mr. Makris - Port of Thessaloniki, Mr. Zafirides-Zita piper industry, Mr. Sioumis - "ICAP Group." Last day of the fair was a presentation of the free zone within the investment conference, where his presentation was the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and SIEPA Agency.
Signing of Agreement on cooperation between the Free Zones Administration and the Italian-Serbian Chamber, May 2011
Cooperation between the two institutions began last year and is now crowned with the signing of the agreement. The signing of this agreement is important for both sides, bearing in mind the growing interest of Italian companies to invest in production in Serbia, as well as the interest of Serbia to bring foreign investors. We can say that this result is very good bilateral relations between our two countries.
Free zones are the right place for investment, considering that its customers, primarily export-oriented, offering additional benefits. They are able to recognize people from FIAT and BENETTON which triggers the production of Niš also wants to work in a regime of free zones. In the near future are expected to attend a series of subcontractors FIAT, which will operate not only in the free zone in Kragujevac, but also in other free zones in Serbia. Today in Serbia operates seven free trade zones (Pirot, Kragujevac, Subotica, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Užice and Šabac), and by the end of this year will start to work 2 more free trade zones (Niš and Smederevo).
In order to implement this agreement the Italian Chamber of Serbian businessmen will work to inform the Italian investors, the Free Zones in Serbia, while in turn the management of free zones to provide all assistance and information to Italian investors.
Real estate and investments fair “REAL Vienna”, Austria May 2011
Real Estate and Investment "Real Vienna" in Vienna, organized traditionally every year in the period from 23 to 25 May. This is the second year in a row that Free zone Administration takes part as co-exhibitor in the official stand of the Republic of Serbia.
Besides the representatives of the Free zone administration, its presence was confirmed by the representatives of the major free zones in Serbia: Free zone "Pirot" , Free zone "Subotica" , Free zone "Novi Sad" and the Free zone "Šabac".
Promotional material of all free zones, has been submitted to the Serbia's Chamber of Commerce in Vienna to promote and inform the Austrian companies on free zones in Serbia.
Investment Fair “EIRE Milano”, Italy June 2011

Real Estate and Investment "EIRE 2011 Milano" in Milan, is organized traditionally every year in the period from 7 to 9 June.
This is the first year that at this fair organized by the Agency for Foreign Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA).
The first day's visit to Milan, Administration representatives took part in the VIP roundtable "New perspectives of cooperation and support to enterprises " together with the Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mr. Nebojša Ćirić, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Mr. Branislav Zec and director SIEPA Mr.Božidar Laganin. The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Milan.
Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia - Free Zones Administration and Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, Government of the Republic of Turkey
Deputy Minister of Finance Vesna Hreljac-Ivanovic and Deputy Undersecretary for Foreign Trade of the Government of the Republic of Turkey Zija Altunialduz, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia- Free Zones Administration and Undersecretary of Foreign Trade, Government of the Republic of Turkey on cooperation in the field of free zones. The signing of this memorandum is a logical continuation of signing Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Turkey.
The aim of the memorandum of understanding is mutual cooperation in the development of free zones, to adopt regulations concerning the free zones and their adjustment in the preparation for accession of Serbia and Turkey in the EU.
The visit of Turkey's delegation to the Republic of Serbia, May 2010
Delegation of Turkish businessmen is visiting Serbia from May 3rd to May 7th 2010 and on this occasion will meet with State Secretary of Ministry of Finance, Mr. Miodrag Đidić, Vice president of Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Mihailo Vesović, Director of the Free Zones Administration Mr. Gajić and representatives of free zones in Serbia.
The aim of the visit is a continuation of talks on the possibility of cooperation between the two countries in the field of investment, development and expansion of free zones. These conversations were initiated early this year when a delegation of Serbia was visiting Turkish free zones.
On this occasion it will be signed a memorandum on cooperation.
Agreement on cooperation with Serbian Chamber of Commerce
Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Free Zones Administration signed the Agreement on Cooperation in the field of free zone promotion.
The agreement was signed by Miloš Bugarin, President of Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Director of the Free Zone Administration Mr.Vlada Gajić. Mr. Gajić told reporters that the agreement is directed to attracting foreign investment and providing the necessary information to investors about where they can invest in Serbia.
"Administration Free Zone is committed to improving the legislation in order to improve the conditions of operations and provide the new locations ready for investments ". Serbian Chamber of Commerce will ensure the promotion of free trade zones, through its departments in Europe.
Agency NOVA on free zones in Serbia
The Italian news agency on its website published an article on the free zone Šabac as a very interesting investment area for Italian companies. The first investor in the Free Zone Šabac is Vescovini group that manufactures car parts. In the coming period are expected to attend and other Italian companies which will be stationed in this free zone.
